1940 Chevrolet Chevy GM Running Board Mouldings Molding Rocker Panel VTG Vintage
Up for sale is a pair of 1940 Chevrolet running board trim mouldings. These have been in storage since the 1940s.
They have never been used, but show light wear from age. These measure approximately 68 1/2" long X 1 3/16" wide. Note: These came in the original brown paper wrapping. It was removed for inspection and most of it was destroyed. We will include whatever is left of it.
Application: I believe these are for 1940 Chevrolet , but they may fit other years if the measurements are correct for your car. Please do your own research.
Condition : These are in good condition. They have never been used, but have a little shelf wear. Please read full description and see pictures. The first moulding: is in very good condition. The stainless steel is nice and shiny.
There are some light surface scratches. There are a few tiny spots of luster loss.One of the tip ends is just slightly blunted, meaning it doesn't come to as sharp a point as the other end. You have to look closely to see this.
On the back there is some light surface rust. The second moulding: is in very good condition as well. On both ends, where the stainless steel wraps around the base, there is a tiny chip in the metal.
This would be impossible to see when mounted, but we want you to know, so please take a look at the pictures. There is some light surface rust on the back. Again, the paper wrappers were removed for inspection, and most of it was destroyed, but we'll include whatever is left.
